EDC welcomes Mr. Eli M. Remolona Jr. as the new Governor of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) and Council member in place of former Gov. Felipe M. Medalla as the Presidential Communications Office announced his appointment on 23 June 2023.
Gov. Remolona brings his extensive experience in central banking, economic policy, international finance, and financial markets to the agency. Before he was appointed BSP Governor, he was a Professor of Finance and Director of Central Banking at the Asia School of Business in Kuala Lumpur.
