The National Exporters’ Week, themed “Sustainability: Shaping the Future of Philippine Exports,” successfully concluded its annual celebration from December 2-6, 2024, at Conrad Manila, Pasay City. The event was spearheaded by the Department of Trade and Industry – Export Marketing Bureau (DTI-EMB), in partnership with the Export Development Council (EDC) and the Philippine Exporters Confederation, Inc. (PHILEXPORT).
Highlights of the Week-Long Celebration
The week featured dynamic activities, including Usapang Export sessions, an Exporters’ Exhibit, and one-on-one consultations with key government agencies and private sector partners. A notable highlight was the launch of the Philippine Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) Information Portal, a valuable tool for exporters navigating international markets.
National Export Congress: Sustainability in Focus
The National Export Congress (NEC) served as the event’s grand finale, underscoring the critical role of sustainable practices in shaping the future of Philippine exports. Discussions highlighted how market regulations, business practices, and consumer preferences are driving the shift toward sustainability and inclusive trade.

The NEC also celebrated the 16 top-performing exporters, recognizing their excellence and innovation in driving the Philippine export industry forward.
Another milestone was the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between the DTI and the Department of Agriculture (DA). This partnership aims to:
